William Pike Challenge 2021
The William Pike challenge is well underway in Room 4 with our first outdoor education trip and community service work.
Last week our class cycled 50km of rugged back country roads. Gnarly hills and rough terrain, challenged our students to persevere, set goals and work hard. Camping overnight beside the McLachlans woolshed provided rest and excitement with a bonfire, spot light and a swim in their dam (for those brave enough!)
A real highlight for me was watching the determination of our students as they pushed hard to get to the top of our 4km climb. It was neat to share our highlights around the campfire and hear that for many this was the most rewarding part of their day.
